Applications for Bike2X Communication

The years 2019/2020 are characterized by the introduction of Car2X or Bike2X communication. Especially with motorcycles, it is expected that this foster some innovations to be implemented on the way to the Vision Zero (avoidance of traffic fatalities). In this work existing methods from vehicle development will be used to design the communication content in such a way that different vehicle assistance systems can better avoid collisions of and with motorcycles.
ANDATA has more than 15 years of experience in developing and securing complex vehicle safety systems, as well as in the application of Artificial Intelligence for vehicle development. The work is carried out in cooperation between ANDATA and a leading European motorcycle manufacturer and should run directly at the motorcycle manufacturer.

Tasks:
- Requirements analysis, compilation of relevant scenarios and data
- Development and implementation of appropriate control and forecast models
- Implementation and evaluation of simulations for the development and evaluation of concept ideas
- Prototypical implementation
- Implementation and support of test drives
Requirements:
- Good knowledge in mathematics and/or mechanics/kinematics/driving dynamics
- Experience in MATLAB and/or good programming skills
- Knowledge of communication technologies is beneficial
- Team spirit, integration and cooperation skills
- Joy and enthusiasm for new technologies and motorcycles
