This week the kick-off of ROBERTA (Real wOrld automated Bus opERaTion Austria), the Austrian flagship project for the preparations for the introduction of automated people movers into regular service in the provinces of Tyrol, Upper Austria, Carinthia and Styria took place.

Under the leadership of the University of Applied Sciences Steyr, 19 partners from transport, and industry are working on integrating automated buses (Level 4) into public transport safely, efficiently and in a socially meaningful way.

Among them is ANDATA with its contribution to scenario and ODD management.
