Digitrans and ANDATA are Starting a Cooperation for the Development of New Solutions to Validate Automated Driving Functions

The managing directors of Digitrans (middle) and ANDATA with the signed cooperation agreement.

Digitrans is the neutral and manufacturer-independent test field for automated, connected driving in Austria with a focus on freight transport and logistics.

ANDATA has been involved in simulation and data-based development and validation of vehicle safety systems, automated driving functions and traffic automation for more than 16 years.

In any case, the development and validation of cooperative, connected, automated driving functions (CCAD) requires a neat combination of suitable simulation methods with data and measurements from real-world operation in corresponding test fields.

Digitrans and ANDATA are now starting a cooperation to combine the respective possibilities, competencies, infrastructures and products. In particular, certain, new and innovative solutions will be developed together to make the introduction of automated and driverless transport systems significantly safer, more effective and more efficient.
