Usage of ANDATA tools with MATLAB 2013b
by Andreas Kuhn
The usage of the ANDATA tools with MATLAB 2013b under Windows can lead to some problems when starting the tools. The problem is due to a MATLAB bug, which is reported under the reference number #968648. Currently two possible workarounds are available:
- Removal of all info.xml files from the toolbox directories of the ANDATA tools. Unfortunatly the direct integration of the user manuals into the MATLAB help is lost that way. Anyhow the user manuals can still be opened by a web browser directly from the help directories.
- Extraction of the attached zip file into the local MATLAB installation directory.
The patch comes from MathWorks. Of course we do not take any warranty for it. For further details please look into the original MATLAB bug report #968648.
